{BRUSHES}

Part I

So today I'm going to do a post on my Makeup Brushes...

it's just a little post on my favorites, nothing too extensive and there's no "how to"... not yet at least! :)

To keep it short and sweet, I'm going to break up the 'Brushes'  into two separate posts-
Part I- Face Brushes & Part II- Eye Brushes

I've become OBSESSED with the brand E.L.F. cosmetics.

First I loved their pricing, because for this single Momma it's right on point for me and my bank account. I don't like to spend a lot of money in this department, since at the end of the day it goes into my wastebasket on a cleansing cloth. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE makeup and wearing it-
 I just  have other things to really invest my money on...
like TUTU's,  Princess dresses,  dress-up heels, purses and toys for Miss Priss! ha :)

And then secondly, it's at my favorite place... Target... so it's very convenient for me to pick up.

Thirdly, their product is pretty impressive, the quality for the price is unbelievable! 

Also, they do not test their products on animals... Hello, love love love!

Some of my favorites...

{{Face Brushes}}

{Angled Foundation Brush}

  ($3)

I absolutely LOVE this brush, but sadly I've abandoned it whenever I got my beauty blender.

 (post to come on that- soon!)

I Use It For: applying my foundation, I first place my foundation on my hand and then dip the brush into that & then apply onto my face- working inward out, blending the foundation using long paint like strokes.

I LOVE: how well this little brush makes my foundation go on and how I feel like an "artist" while doing so!

I did a post and review on this little brush whenever I first got it, here!

{Powder Brush}

 ($3)

This is probably my FAVORITE and most used brush, out of my small collection.

I Use It For: HD powder and also for my bronzer.

I LOVE: how easy it is to use, and the bristles on the brush are very firm, yet still loose enough to get just that desired lightly brushed on look!

{Stipple Brush}

 ($3)

I Use It For: applying my blush & sometimes bronzer too, but mostly just my blush!

I LOVE: that it's an easy-breezy way to put my blush on, that makes me feel like a PRO!

{Complexion Brush}

 ($3)

My second favorite brush!

I Use It: at the end of applying all of my makeup, with my HD powder- 

just to make sure I've set my foundation.

I LOVE: the size and feel of this brush, it's not too big nor too small but just right!

And it brushes away any flaws that I missed while applying (fallen eye shadows, etc.), and helps give my skin that soft finished look!

{Kabuki Face Brush}

I actually got mine for less than this, because I found it on sale and it also came with bronzer.

I don't really use this one as much, I'm not good with brushes that have a shorter handle-stick, but it's still a really good brush.

When used, I Use It: after applying on my foundation, just to make sure it's really set and to make sure I got all the hard places- forehead/hairline area.

I LOVE: it gets the job done!

My Four Favorites (recent) from my account!

I just can't get enough of the one of Prissy Pants swinging with no shoes on... love love LOVE!

I think I might just get it printed and framed!

As for the other three... the first (top left corner) is from last night, yesterday me and Miss Priss BOTH took super late naps (I blame the rainy weather) so needless to say it was a long night ahead of us- so I made myself some tea and she wanted some "tea" too, hence her little (play) teacup!

the second (top right corner) is from last week, our little bunny friend having bunny breakfast! :)

Miss Priss & I are quite fond of this little bunny.

the fourth (bottom right corner) picture of baby bird eggs, taken BEFORE the Momma Birdie moved the nest- they have since hatched but I can't get any pictures of them, but we periodically check up on the little birdies, so far we've seen the Momma feed them, and have heard their little baby bird cries... it's probably a good thing she moved the nest or I'd be pretty tempted to have a pet bird! HA

Four Pictures of Home CHALLENGE

So there's this little picture challenge on Instagram going on right now,

 & can I just say now that I absolutely LOVE & adore her pictures!

I tagged my sister in the 'rules' picture she posted (@SingLittleMama)

and told her we needed to do it, 

so yesterday my sister did hers and then tagged me and some of her friends to do the challenge as well.

Here's my sisters four...

I LOVE that we both have the same taste in style... home decor, furniture, clothes, etc. HA

It's true though, sometimes it's scary when we go shopping together... we'll pick up the SAME things!

OR even when she's not visiting us, and we'll buy the EXACT same things, STATES away!

I always joke with her when we do things like this, 

and say "Gosh, it's like we're sisters or something"! :)

OH, and yes we have the same chandy's too! We are both OBSESSED with chandy's as well!

NEW Weekly Blog Post...

{MAKEUP Monday}

I've always been a girl who LOVES Makeup... probably an end result of playing with my Barbie's as a child, and then also being a pageant girl too... we won't get into that last one! ha

But as of late, I really LOVE playing around with make up, and different techniques.

Now, don't worry I'm not going to turn this little ol' blog into a beauty blog or anything like that, but every Monday (& sometimes every other Monday) I'll do a post on MAKEUP!

Everything from foundation to a flat brush.

Yes, there's also a "flat brush" in the make up world too- it's no longer for just painters! :)

I'm in complete...

chandy bliss!

FINALLY got (1 out of the 2) chandy's UP!

That only took almost a year AFTER I purchased them! HA

That's actually SO sad and a bit embarrassing... 

oh well it's up and I'm in LOVE, & I want MORE!

(I hope they put them on sale again this summer)

Okay, so here she is in all her glam glory....

I know, it's not the best picture, but I'll take more whenever I get her a proper base plate thingie...
 clearly from that last statement, it's pretty apparent that I did NOT hang the chandy- since I do not even know the proper terminology! HA
THANKS to my Dad who hung it up!
Me and Miss Priss are in LOVE... she told me, "it's perfect", & that we need "more, more, more!"- clearly we've been watching too much ELOISE lately! :)

A Tropical Storm, Tornado Warning, & TOES...

say what?! 

Today, we are stuck inside the house due to a tropical storm, and we are also under a tornado watch until 10 PM tonight...  LOVELY! I know, fun fun fun stuff here in FL!

So what to do when stuck inside you ask? 

Well me and Miss Priss are going to have a MOVIE Day and paint our nails too, 

a few of our favorite things we do weekly actually! ha

Can you guess our favorite color, from the picture above? HA

Prissy Pants chose her new OPI, "If You Moust You Moust" (pink color) from the Vintage Minnie Mini's collection... they are really "mini' and PERFECT for her, love love love!

and then this happened....

(Now, I know I usually do the whole matchy-matchy thing on purpose with us- but this one was not on purpose, I promise!)

But, I did learn that the 'Sinful Colors' in the shade 'Pink Forever', is a perfect (& less expensive) version of OPI's "If You Moust You Moust" shade! 

I know, in the title I put "TOES" too, and we did paint our toes...
but I did not get to get a picture of Miss Priss' perfectly pink toes before she ruined them
 & removed the polish from them!

OH & then this happened too...

Tornado Watch Party in Miss Priss' bed, 

where apparently all stuffed animals and dolls were welcomed! :)

Oh, I LOVE her!

PINK ❤

Oh, how I love thee!

SO I finally took my PINK T.V. out of the box, 

that I got from Target's 'Daily Deals' like what seems like FOREVER ago!

I kinda wish the remote would've been pink too, but it's not it's black.

Can you guess what movie I watched on it first?!

If you know me, or have been following me for a bit on my blog, than this should be an easy one! :)

YES, I watched 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' as my first movie on the pink TV!

Although, technically the first movie watched was 'Eloise' and then 'Cinderella'-

 Prissy Pants wanted to watch her movies on it first! 

But, I do think there is no better movie to watch on a pink TV than Miss Eloise, if I do say so myself!

Big Girl Bed... ❤

So tonight will be the second night, that Miss Priss will be in her "Big Girl Bed",
(I know, we're like 2 years behind on this one- don't judge me!) HA
& Mommy doesn't have to freak out over her falling out thanks to this little thingie!
Unlike, the night before, whenever I didn't have this little thing- I just had an  insane amount of pillows all along her bed, and on the floor (in case she did fall off),
but I got NO sleep from always checking on her, and she ended up just sleeping in my bed with me!
FAIL!

But this little thing I LOVE, because I no longer have to worry, I know she'll be OKAY...
which means (hopefully) Mommy will now get MORE SLEEP... WooHoo! :)

Mr. Prince Charming... ❤❤❤

So I was on Disney's website looking for Ariel things for Prissy Pants 

(she's OBSESSED with her, & we can not wait until October for the release of her movie!)

and I came across Prince Charming FOR SALE ladies!

AND on SALE too!

I finally found him ya'll!

(who cares if I had to buy him)

Apparently love does cost a thing! ha I kid, I kid!

I didn't really buy him, not yet at least! :)

from $20 to $6 ... not a bad deal! 

Although I'm sure the Castle is sold separately! :(

(& probably those glass slippers too)

Okay and now onto another "Prince Charming" find, I came across this one on "Polyvore"- I'm quite OBSESSED with it again, but anyways I found this adorable little Betsey Johnson ring, I absolutely LOVE everything of hers- she can do no wrong in my eyes!

Now whenever people ask (or try to set me up) if I'm dating anyone, 

I can tell them I've happy with my "Prince Charming"! HA

I really DISLIKE frogs, well real frogs, but this little one I'm absolutely in LOVE with!

June 1st, in FLORIDA means that today it's officially 'Hurricane Season'... oh joy!

{email reminder from local news channel, from yesterday}

I pray we do not have any bad weather, rainy stormy days I can handle, hurricanes not so much.

And also, 

Prayers go out to all that have been affected with the tornadoes up North, 

it breaks my heart to hear of those things touching down and destroying and taking lives.
