30 Days of THANKS {{day 15}}

I'm Thankful that God gave me a daughter!

I'm just not really sure how I would have managed raising a little boy...

boys can't wear tutu's, have tea parties, have 'DIVA days', OR dance around to GaGa 

(well I guess some do)

I am SO thankful God blessed me with my little Miss Prissy Pants!

I can't imagine having it any other way, and I'm LOVING every second of all the girly'ness! 

30 Days of THANKS {{day 14}}

I'm Thankful for "frufru" things!

Yes, it's true, I just LOVE all things pink and girly!

Just the color "pink" makes me happy!

And add tulle, or ruffles, or bling, OR all- and I'm beyond ecstatic! :)

And I think my love for all things girly has been passed on to my mini me!

(such a proud Momma!)

I am Thankful for my nieces & nephew!

I might be a little biased, but I think they are just the best, 

&

the cutest too!

I LOVE hearing "Weesha" 

(my nickname- Aunt Weesha)

it's the best!

The three of them hold a very special place in my heart,

& 

I'm SO thankful that I am their Aunt!

30 Days of THANKS {{day 12}}

I'm Thankful for Tar-jay (Target) and it's "dollar aisle"! 

(especially Super Target's, that have a Starbucks inside... it's pure bliss)

I LOVE Target SO SO much!

and I LOVE their $1 aisle even more, I always feel like a little kid in a candy store! :)

30 Days of THANKS {{day 11}}

I'm Thankful for all the men & women who serve and keep us protected.

Because of them and their selflessness, Prissy pants and I  get to live our lives without fear.

They are TRUE HERO's, and words will never be enough for all that they do for us!

30 Days of THANKS {{day 10}}

I'm Thankful for my big sister!

(again, I know I already did one on "Family & Friends", but she deserves her own as well)

Through the years we've been really close and then we've drifted apart,

but thankfully we have reconnected our bond and we are at our strongest we've ever been at I feel!

Sisters, like Mothers & Daughters, relationships can be hard at times.

I feel now that we are both "grown" and are both "Mommies"- we have been able to truly be friends again,

& 

I'm LOVING every minute of it!

Being a "little sister", I have ALWAYS looked up to her, and too, there have been times of jealously- being 5 years apart tends to complicate things- especially whenever your in Middle School and all the boys LOVE your older sister whose in High School! :)

(it's a weird feeling, b/c while you are "proud" it kind of stings too)

I guess you can just call it "growing pains", but we are now at a place where I feel if we had to go through all of the petty stuff in the past to be where we are at today, then I wouldn't change a thing and I'd do it all again!

I LOVE my big sister, and Prissy Pants LOVES her "Auntie Jenn Jenn"

and at times, I promise she is her mini me!

*always into EVERYTHING {{Jenn is infamous for all of the things she got into as a child}} :)

*at times she even looks like her when she was her age

(especially when she was a baby... at Easter- it was pretty weird- I felt I was holding my sister!)

30 Days of THANKS {{day 9}}

I'm Thankful for WINE!

{Hey, I'm just being honest & it is "Wines-day Wednesday")

besides God, Himself, turned water into wine- so it's not bad, right?

and DR's have even proven it's good for you heart! :)

Some days {nights} you just need a glass of wine, especially when you are a Mommy!

(I've yet to try this one, but I LOVE the name!) 

OH and I'm also Thankful for my "Mommy wine glass" from my Momma! :)

30 Days of THANKS {{day 8}}

I'm Thankful for being healthy and for not having an illness

{{as well as my Prissy Pants and my family}}

Now being a Mommy, I can't even begin to imagine how parents deal and go through any kind of illness, either dealing with it themselves or with their child.

Tears are forming as I type this.

And even worse, I don't know how parents deal with losing a child.

The only thing that gets me through when this happens, 

is knowing that they are truly in a better place and in good hands!

I truly believe in "everything happens for a reason"

I've had to learn (and am still learning and coping with a great loss of my own)

although this person was not my family, (though I did think of him as), it doesn't make it hurt any less.

When horrible things happen, I turn to Him, and my faith in Him becomes stronger-

although I may never understand "why", 

I believe and trust in Him that this is how it's meant to be and it is part of a greater plan!

(although I would most likely end up in a mental hospital if something happened to my Prissy pants)

BUT 

I would still trust in Him and His plan- but just be all medicated to deal with it!

30 Days of THANKS {{day 7}}

I'm Thankful for sweet moments with my Prissy Pants!

moments I consider as "Sweet Moments...

*whenever she gives me kisses 

*gives me hugs

*pats my back as she gives me a hug

*watching movies together

*having shopping days

*having a "Diva Day" with her (a spa day)

*watching her be a "Mommy" to her baby dolls

*watching her learn and grow

*watching her giving her Nonna "love" (kisses)

*whenever she says a new word

*watching her interact with other children

*watching her dance

*watching her face when she gets excited over seeing a dog (real or fake)

*blowing kisses 

*painting her toes

*when she says "YAY"

*when she says "Momma"

*laying down and taking naps together (these are pretty far and few now days)

*whenever she "helps" Mommy with the dishwasher

*whenever she puts on her "make up"

*whenever she walks around in my heels or shoes!

*whenever she carries around purses- or anything she feels could be a purse!

*"talking" on the phone

*the way she knows how to operate and use my phone (sometimes better than me I think)

*our little walks around the neighborhood

*our "girl talks"

*the time before she goes "night night" and I lay with her and in the "big girl" bed in her room

I'm sure I'm leaving out a ton, because there are many times throughout the day when she does something,

 I just stop and take a minute to make it a "Sweet Moment"!

I LOVE my little Miss Priss and watching her become such a little girl!

I'm Thankful for CONCEALER! 

{{seriously, I am}}

with being a Momma, it's my instant go to whenever I'm getting ready.

It helps to hide those "I'm a Mom " circles and bags underneath my eyes!

SO Thank You to whomever invented this amazing product!

(without which, people would actually see how exhausted I am!) ha :)

 now if only someone could invent a product to cover roots just as fast!

30 Days of THANKS {{day 5}}

I'm Thankful for my Momma!

I know that I already did "Family"- but I felt my Momma needed her own!

Although we have always had our "ups and downs" like any Mother & Daughter...

I am SO Thankful that God gave me her!

He truly blessed me with an amazing Mother for myself and my sister!

And now, she is an amazing "Nonna" to my daughter!

 (don't worry, I won't say the dreaded and hideous "G" word Momma!) :)

and our little Princesses and Prince have truly been blessed!

30 Days of THANKS {{day 4}}

I'm Thankful for reconnecting and having a closer relationship to God!

Over the past two-plus years I've been through A LOT,

{{lost someone very very close to me, and then received the BEST gift ever! :)}}

and while I've always had a relationship with Him,

within the recent year it has grown, & even more so within the last month.

It's SO easy to get caught up in the daily drama's of life,

but I'm learning (again) that through Him all things are possible

as long as we trust in Him & give to Him.

He does have a plan and while we may not be able to understand it at the time, it's a perfect plan and by far greater than anything I could have ever dreamt of.

He is so much bigger than anything in this life

(drama, problems, etc.)

I'm SO Thankful that He is such a forgiving God, and for His continuous & unconditional love!

I'm Thankful for STARBUCKS!

I know it's so "cliche" to say but I mean it, I LOVE them all, each and every one!

Some of my friends are truly my family, & I feel God puts certain people in our lives for a reason!
