relax... ♥

Me and Miss Priss have a had a not so glam week, both being Sicky Icky's...

but we are both feeling oh so better today, 

so we are going to have a very relaxing & glam day...

First up, we're going to continue watching some of Audrey's classics...

Prissy Pants picked "Roman Holiday" to watch...

(I think she's the only toddler who truly loves and will watch Audrey... such a proud Mommy Moment!) ♥

 *Comfy Slipper Boots are a MUST for relaxing! :)

And for our glam, we need to do our nails, since we've neglected them during our colds!

Mommy Time...

I had to endure A LOT of Barbie movies earlier, and now that Prissy Pants is asleep, it's now Mommy's turn, and I chose to watch Audrey in some of her classics!

Oh, Happy Day!

My NEW (& crack-free) Audrey/Holly coffee cup arrived today!

I'm back in LOVE with Amazon again! ha 

This time around, someone got the memo over at their shipping facility to triple wrap (not just put in a bubble baggy with tape) glass items in bubble wrap... WooHoo!

Thank You Amazon, I'm in LOVE with it!

Surprise, Surprise!

Me & Miss Priss had a surprise waiting for us as we arrived back from shopping yesterday,

our gifts we ordered from Amazon had arrived, 2 days earlier than they were supposed to.

She was helping me with the box and trying to help me open it- as I cut it opened with help from scissors- and then I reminded her that her Minnie Mouse was inside & she got really really excited!

And, I have to say, her Minnie is really cute & really soft...  she's in LOVE with her!

as for my Audrey gifts-

my Audrey book- "Audrey in Rome"-

 I LOVE it, it's a bit smaller than I was expecting it'd be, 

but it's gorgeous- as is all the photographs inside.

I especially love the cover shot- in black & white and then the title in HOT PINK!

(as well as the inside cover pages... love! love! love!)

my Audrey coffee mug-

I instantly fell in LOVE the moment I saw it, but as I took it out from it's bag, I noticed a small crack! :(

And then, upon further inspection- I noticed an even BIGGER crack- that went across her face! So I'm now in the process of shipping it back to Amazon and have requested a replacement- I must say, although I was not impressed with their packaging of our items (all of which was tossed in a big box with minor packaging product to inure items arrived safely and undamaged) I am impressed (so far) with their return policy- I am not being charged to return my broken item and this morning I've already received, via email, that my new & hopefully crack-free mug is on it's way... yay! :)

My Night...

in honor of Audrey's Birthday, I'm watching Breakfast At Tiffany's!

Now, if only I had her fabulous sleeping mask and ear plug tassels...

it would be pure perfection!

It's no secret that I am completely obsessed  adore Audrey Hepburn!

I just LOVE every little thing about her & the beautiful life she lived...
 her style, her admiration for humanity, her giving heart and sweet soul, her love of being a Mommy,
& lastly her movies!

'Breakfast at Tiffany's' was my first Audrey movie I watched, and I instantly fell in love with her!

Her style in BAT was impeccable, her and Givenchy were brilliant! I seriously would wear EVERY piece of clothing (and accessories) from that wardrobe, especially the infamous little black dress!

Today would have been Audrey's 84th birthday!

She truly was a beautiful woman, inside and out!

Here's to you Miss Hepburn, Happy Birthday daaaahling! :)
