I took another long blog break, oops!

BUT, I'm back now.

This might end up being a rather long post today, so grab a cup of coffee OR a glass of WINE, 

it is National Drink WINE Day today after all, and no judgement here if it's only 11 as I type this.

This weekend was one of the best weekends we've had in a while... probably because it was a long weekend and we were still celebrating Kenley's Birthday!

Friday Night was our typical {Friday Night MOVIE Night}, but it was also Valentine's Day...

so we ordered a heart-shaped pizza to celebrate appropriately, of course!

Ate in her teepee tent and watched Cinderella!

And then, on Saturday Kenley and I had a "Miss Priss & Mommy Day"...

went to her favorite stores... Party City (for candy), Justice, & Target!

We also had a little Starbucks Date.

Did more shopping at Marshall's... not so much a favorite store of hers,

but we scored pretty things for both her and I.

I managed to find a pair of Kate Spade flutes, the pink box they were in instantly captured my attention, and once I realized they were the dot etched flutes I was a happy girl!

Also grabbed the cutest little pink coffee cups with sleeves for only $2,
 leftover Valentine's Day goods are my favorite!

For Kenley we found...  a pink glitter sketchpad, another adorable and sweet bunny (we now have three from over the years & we always find them at Marshall's), a pair of pink jeans and a fabulous and sparkly Cynthia Rowley TUTU skirt!

Literally just about everything, but the tutu was PINK in our cart and the ladies behind the registers were having a fit over our pink finds.

We went a little crazy with our shopping so we missed lunch, but we decided to do a late lunch/dinner at her favorite place, Chipotle...

It was a fun girls day with my favorite girl and I cherish these days so much!

Sunday, we decided to stay in since the weather was pretty yucky and rainy.

When the weather decided to behave for a bit we grabbed Chipotle to go and came back home and had it in her teepee tent and watched Harry Potter, because I realized a few hours earlier that she had NO SCHOOL the next day, YAY for Presidents' Day!

Monday, since she had a "freebie day", we decided to make our much needed trip to Target to get things for the week an extra fun one.

We had a little Starbucks Date before our shopping... a double chocolatey-chip frapp and a cake pop for her and my standard Salted Caramel Mocha Frapp for me... it was bliss!

Once our shopping was done, we decided to reward ourselves with yet another trip to Chipotle....

And yes, if you are keeping count, that made it THREE days in a row. 

No shame in our Chipotle eating game.

We, again, got it to go... because we had ice cream and other cold things from Target.

For my FOREVER VALENTINE,♡

Put together some sweet goodies for my girl and going to surprise her after school with it.

Had to get her another pink disco ball cup, because we somehow lost the one I got her last year and it came quite handy for fun events (Movie Nights, picnics, etc)

I seriously might have to steal those pink heart sunnies though...

tried to to go back to the store and get me a pair so we could match for the day/night, but they were completely sold out... lesson learned, always get TWO when it comes in pink and is cute!

And that little unicorn, I actually picked that up in Target in December... it was a Christmas ornament and I just cut off the hanging wire, was originally going to use it for something completely different, but didn't end up doing it- so on top of the basket she went!

Earlier in the week I tried to get pink heart balloons, but the store was completely out of helium air... so I tried one more time ON VALENTINE'S DAY, and was successful...

Pink heart balloons... check!

Decided to tie the balloons to the basket and sit it under the sunroof, and then when her school bus arrives, have them coming our of the sunroof so she sees them!

Of course it was a unusually windy day today... something that is hardly a thing in FLORIDA.

So I see a bus coming and hurry up and open the sunroof and have them pop out, and then I realize it's not her school bus, instantly feel like an idiot in front of all the other parents waiting for their kids to arrive too. Hi, don't mind me here I'm just trying to hold on to these balloons.... but when her bus did finally arrive, 8 minutes later, her little face seeing them made it ALL worth it!

Going to have our usual Friday Night MOVIE Night tonight, 

but it's going to be a little more special...

It's one of my favorite Holiday's EVER!

And no, it's not only because the color PINK is EVERYWHERE and hearts, 

but because it's a whole day dedicated to LOVE!

So, about last night...

We (my Mom, myself and Miss Priss)

surprised my Grandmother with a dinner with her sisters last night.

Miss Priss and I put on our party shoes just for the occasion...

It was a fun and memorable night.

I also made a little video to share with her that night... 

wanted it to be longer, but was short on time and pictures

When your Sbux hasn't been making your Salted Caramel Mocha frapp with enough caramel lately and you ask for extra caramel...

probably one of the best SCMF I've had in a really long time!

Got everything on my list I needed plus a little splurge (Sbux)...

I'd call that a successful Saturday!

plus I got to spend a little one-on-one time with my Grandmother, too, so extra points.

Happy HAPPY Birthday, Nanny! ♡

She's the strongest woman I know... 

raised five children (four being boys)- this alone proves she's strong :), but I think my favorite story that shows such is one day when a storm was rolling in & she was outside picking up toys in the yard she was bitten by a snake...  she actually killed that snake (so the hospital would know what kind of snake gave her the bite)... if that isn't the very definition of strong than I do not know what is.
