{MAKEUP Monday} ❤

For today's {MM} I'm going to share a favorite find of mine.
This is going to be a short and sweet post,
since I'm currently in total planner mode for upcoming events {see post below}

I'm pretty OBSESSED with using concealer,
in fact whenever I became a Mommy I swore the BEST two necessities for Mommies are both Concealer & Coffee!

 (I still believe in both today)

Awhile back I had to cheat make a trip to,  dare I say it... Wal-Mart in order to get this brand of concealer by "Hard Candy", why they do not supply to my beloved Target is beyond me.

The concealer is called "Glamoflauge", CUTE right? I LOVE the name alone!

{a picture of mine}

And here's a professional picture, of what it looks like in the store:

it comes with a little concealer pencil too!

I think I paid around $6 for it, it looks small but don't let it's size fool you... A LOT of product comes in this little thing! I bought mine in April and I'm NOWHERE near ready to buy a new one yet.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with it, & I'm pretty picky with my concealers!
I might buy a different shade soon (darker- I currently have the light),
just to experiment and maybe mix the two together.

Happy MAKEUP Monday!

XoXo,

planning, planning, planning...

Hi, my name is Alisha, and I'm a plan'oholic!

(and an iced-coffee'oholic too!)

I'm the kind of  girl who has to plan things out, I love making lists (& checking them twice)
 I'm just a planner at heart,
which is probably why I LOVED being a part of the planning process for brides back in the day,
(I say "back in th day" it really wasn't that so long ago, but it feels like forever ago now)
little random known fact- I was once an event planner, before Miss Prissy Pants!

There are a few exciting events coming up, so I'm in FULL planner mode!

I still have a few months (3 months for two and 4 months for the BIG)

 in OCTOBER-  "The Little Mermaid" will be released, FINALLY!
(it was supposed to be released in March)
 I'll be doing a little "viewing party" for Prissy Pants like we did for the Cinderella release!
(hopefully with less stress over purchasing this DVD, than Cinderella)

Not planning anything too fancy, just need to order a small Ariel cake (like I did for Cinderella), and then find or make Prissy Pants a cute Ariel/Mermaid outfit to wear like she did for Cinderella- she got all dressed up in her Cinderella dress, clear slipper heels, tiara, and jewelry! But, she doesn't really have an Ariel dress or mermaid outfit still, I can't seem to find a cute one and Disney's are just... well....
not cute and too expensive & I'm not paying a small fortune for something ugly, I just can't do it!
 Which means I might be making a "mermaid tail", what she tells me she wants ... which if I do it'll go perfectly for Halloween....

HALLOWEEN- so far, (I say this because a toddler girls mind is so fickle) she's saying she wants her costume to be like Ariel. She's been pretty obsessed with Ariel, since our last Disney trip on her birthday and too, I think it helped that when meeting Ariel she was AMAZING with her and really took a lot of time talking to her and even gave her a kiss on her cheek (which she STILL talks about to this day)- so I'm hoping with the DVD release also being in October,
that she'll still be in Ariel Bliss and choose that as her costume, BUT we shall see!

Although a little viewing party & costume designing is nothing compared to what will be happening in NOVEMBER ....

Auntie JennJenn & the mini's are coming down & we've decided to do DISNEY with them! We are SO ecstatic to do this trip, originally we were supposed to do it last year when they came down, but the weather was just not allowing it, but this year we'll be going in November instead of the summer- so we have a better chance of no rain and less heat, well hopefully!
 (sometimes FL can be hot in November too)

Iv'e re-downloaded the Disney App, & ordered their Vacation Planning Tools package!

I'm already exhausted with just the planning process, so  I can't even imagine how exhausted we are all going to be when we are actually park hoping, but it's all for the memories! :)

I think I better start stocking up on the WINE now, for our Mommy Nights- although I'm sure we'll just crash as soon as we get back to the room and be too tired to even have fun Mommy/Girl Talks! BUT I'm still going to plan some fun "Mommy Time" things for us in hopes we get the chance!
Maybe even do a Tatum-Night... all movies with Channing- we are HUGE Tatum Lovers... like every other single girl in the world! HA  Jenna is the LUCKIEST girl!

Thankfully we are going to just stay with her and the mini's at their hotel which is on the Disney property, so that'll be nice and easy! Prissy Pants is excited, she hasn't been since her birthday, & this trip will be special because she gets to experience it all over again with her cousins!

And as a plus, my sister's longtime friend will be joining us with her little boys and hubby!
We've already decided to have a Mommy Night
annnnnd we have found these cute little "Wine Sippy Cups".... cute, no?

This will sure come in handy now that the "happiest place on Earth" (Magic Kingdom) sells WINE,
can I get a WooHoo Momma's?! :)

AND the best part... Disney World just opened TWO STARBUCKS locations (one in Magic Kingdom & the other at Epcot), so it truly is (now) the "happiest place on Earth" for us adults ....
all that's missing is a Target! HA

(Which I'm sure we'll be hitting up before checking in to the hotel)

Other fun events that will be taking place in November...

*Of course, THANKSGIVING!
Which is my favorite holiday, with Christmas coming in second!

*My Sisters Birthday, don't worry Auntie JennJenn I won't share which one this is! :)

ALSO the BIG UF vs FSU game, which happens to fall on her birthday this year
(I'm a HUGE Gator Girl and she's an FSU'er... so this is a BIG deal game for us every year)

There's going to be a lot of fun things happening and fun celebrations coming our way,
and I'll be planning up until they do!
Although, one thing that I cannot plan for is my GATORS winning, I'm counting on it though! HA
GO GATORS!!!

Happy MONDAY loves!

{MAKEUP Monday}

It's just another Manic MAKEUP Monday!

{BRUSHES}

Part II
EYE BRUSHES

Following from last week's post,
 BRUSHES, Part I
 I'm  now, moving on to Eye Brushes, and I'll still be showing you my favorites from the line of "E.L.F."- just because they are my favorite and the only ones I truly use right now.

And, again....

*DISCLAIMER-
 E.L.F. cosmetics has NOT paid me in any way, funds, merchandize and or products to write this blog post. I just LOVE the products, which I truly use every day,
& am just sharing my fab finds with you all!

My Favorites...

Eyeshadow "C" Brush

{$3}

I Use It For: Creating my favorite look- the Smokey Eye!

I LOVE: That the brush does all the work and I get to take credit for it! :)

I absolutely LOVE using this brush to create the "smokey eye", & it works every time!

To create the smokey eye, apply the brush tip on the outward corner of the eye by pressing the color in a C shape from the lash line up, flip the C on the right eye so it creates an outward curve. Blend color inward for definition.

Blending Eye Brush

{$1}

My second favorite brush to use!

I Use It For: Blending two or more eyeshadows,  & to soften dramatic edges and fine lines.
(it really helps create that natural soft look)

I LOVE: That this little brush is a multi-tasker!
Yes, it's true! It also doubles as a setter for powder &/or liquid concealer too!

Contour Brush

{$3}

I Use It For:  Whenever I want a very high intensity color.

**This little brush, due to the dome bristles, picks up a lot of color!

I LOVE: How soft and absorbent this little brush is! And it can be used with both dry & wet products!

Defining Eye Brush

{$1}

I Use It For: Added depth & definition!

I LOVE: How this is a Two-In-One brush!
Use the flat side for your base color and the angled tip use to create a crease contour!

*The angled bristles are shaped and designed to contour the crease of the eyelid or the area right underneath your brow bone for added color (or highlight color)!

And lastly...

Angled Eyeliner Brush

{$3}

I Use It For: Applying my eyeliner!

I LOVE: The thin pointed brush tip,
which helps me to create a perfect placement of liner right up to my lash line!

Have a BEAUTIFUL Monday lovelies!

Snacks, Shopping, Supper & ICE CREAM too! ❤

the above title pretty much explains our Friday!

a quick and late 'Snack Time' for Miss Priss before our shopping trip.

making her list, while Mommy was getting ready.

which consisted of: "cookies, candy, ponies, and more Lalaloopsy dolls"
and then, she added to "check" after each as she was telling me!
LOVE LOVE LOVE her! ❤

And I had to take pictures of her outfit...
She chose her little Tutu Dress, yes it might have been up in the 90's but she was wearing it regardless... choose your battles wisely, right Momma's?

She LOVED that she was dressed like Eloise, so of course, Miss Eloise had to come with us too!
Total girls day!

I decided to wear my matching necklace with her too!

"Miss Priss" bloomers, BEST part of her outfit! :)

Had to snap this shot of her on our way to go shopping...

these are her "Miss Hollywood" shades!

and I LOVE all the elements captured in this shot, because they all describe her perfectly...
Big Shades, Bow, Pink Mani, and rockin' a Band-aid!

We opted to eat out for dinner....

I had to take a picture of my GINORMOUS burger...
1.) because that was my "Photo-A-Day" topic- dinner
and 2.) because I was in total AWE of it's size!

this thing took SEVEN napkins in the end!

Miss Priss stuck with her favorites, FRIES and chicken tenders!

After that we did a Sweet Treat...

ICE CREAM!

Eloise must have been dieting, (kind of like what I am supposed to be doing too),
because she just sat back and let us enjoy our treats!

Miss Priss got the S'mores Blizzard and I chose to go with the classic Oreo!

All in all it was a sweet and fabulous Friday with my mini me!

I absolutely adore days like these with her!

HAPPY Friday darlings!

XoXo,

Sparkle! Sparkle! ❤

{5 Things Friday} ❤

My first (of many more to come) of
{5 Things Friday}

To start off my first, I thought it best to keep it simple and sweet.

So I'm going to share FIVE (random) things I'm LOVIN' right now...

1.)
{MUSIC}

ZZ Ward

She reminds me (looks-wise) of  Anna Kendrick!

And, musically, she reminds me a bit between Lady GaGa (lyric style)
 and then too both Adele & Christina Aguilera (soulful style voice)

My FAVORITES:  "Til the Casket Drops"- featured on PLL
"Overdue"
"Put the Gun Down" -featured on Nashville
"Last Love Song"

2.)
{TEA}

I have a few teas that I'm really loving right now... three to be exact...

3.)
{BOOKS}

As you can see, I'm having tea with my books! It's one of my favorite things to do before bed!

I'm currently reading these three books:
Running In Heels (Anna Maxted), Uncharted TerriTORI (Tori Spelling),
& The Secret Memoirs of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (Ruth Francisco)

4.)
{APPS}

if you follow me on Instagram you already know that I LOVE
 "A Beautiful Mess" App, & use it a bit too much with my pictures!

5.)
{SONG}

"Brave Face" Delta Goodrem

my favorite lyric...
 "Feels like I'm running with my high heels on"

This is NOT a new song from Delta, (Delta, 2007)
 but I just absolutely adore it right now and it might from time to time be on repeat!
It's really a song about a couple, but I can still relate to it, it seems in my life I'm always having to put my "brave face on" at some point, and I'm usually always in high heels too! :)

HAPPY Friday, hope it's FABULOUS!
